Lokatoo GPS navigation products use Digital Navigation Capable Maps powered by Telekom Malaysia Berhad (TM), which is the principal owner of these maps data. These digital navigation capable TM DNCMaps, have vast amount of POIs, which provide informative data to users while navigating - a key value added feature that enhances customers’ driving satisfaction. We have recently included Yellow Pages (YP) Business Directory which will eventually have over 600k telephone numbers in our map data. With YP data incorporated, users can now search for company names, phone & fax numbers, URLs and most importantly route them to the location via the search results. TM WiFi Sites has also been included as POIs, thus allowing users to search for a place to get connectivity when required. There is currently over 25k TM WiFi sites and growing and these data are being progressively included in our map database.

The Map Database will be maintained and updated by ACSB, which is the sub-licensee for the TM DNCMaps. It now covers the whole of Malaysia and is one of the most comprehensive maps covering all urban, sub-urban and rural areas. Improvement to the maps is on-going basis and is currently being provided free at www.lokatoo.com where new maps are released monthly. We remain the only GPS provider in Malaysia who is able to release monthly map updates and are committed to continue this on a long term basis.
